I’m human. I binged. The cycle of abuse,

This weekend I went wild. Wild for carbs, wild for chocolate and now I feel rubbish. I’ve let myself down and I know why. After the whole hate myself blog I’ve been slipping. 4 weeks until to my wedding and I’m self sabotaging myself, why? It’s probably a mixture of things. Mainly the way I see myself, it gets me down so I turn to food. Whilst I’ve been so good recently on controlling my crazy binges,unfortunately I’m still human and make mistakes. I have to learn from this and move on, this week I’m going to be strict. Try and undo the damage that has been done. I’m sticking to precise macros.
78g carbs, 188 protein and 50g fat. 1600 cals. I was an absolute carb monster this weekend eating tortilla chips til I couldn’t actually stuff another handful in my gob.
Exercise wise I am doing my Jamie Eason weight routine and half n hour cardio straight after. I’m also doing ten rounds of interval running and also two spinning classes. My jeans have got tighter on my thighs from the muscle gain, yet to see it though!

My herbal game is tight.

Herbal teas. I love them. I don’t drink fizzy and I don’t drink anything except water, herbal tea and occasional red wine. You can never have too many herbal teas.

What’s your collection like?
I have to say the Pukka Teas are by far my favourites. They sent me some detox teas and since then I’ve bought 3 different lots. The cleanse is refreshing but my favourite is the ginger. I love a bit of ginger tea. Always helps when I feel icky.

So this weekend I’ve been ill hence why I’ve been quiet on the blog.
Suffering from the period bloats too. Yep being a women sometimes sucks eggs. The one time I plan to go clubbing in town at the weekend and my monthly enemy decides to give me a visit and bloat the crap out of my body. The one time I really want to wear something figure hugging and that stupid period bloats me up like the Michelin tyre man! Thanks Mother Nature! Oh and to top it all off I have the mother of all spots erupting on the side of my chin. Just what every girl needs for a confidence booster. 😡👊

Anyways enough moaning on. This weeks weight workout has stepped up to two leg days and only 2 days rest. Still no cardio but I’m going spinning Wednesday because I love it!
I had a naughty weekend by scoffing lots of snacky foods like some chips and a brownie but hey I’m only human. We all need some time off?

Today was leg day. I ate a few more carbs than normal to compensate but really need to crack down tomorrow. Get rid of the bloats wah!

Anyway I have a chance of a new job tomorrow so bed early and fingers crossed for me everyone. 🙂

Breakfast yesterday was

2 Chicken sausages. I get these from the local food markets. A farm local to us make these fresh and sell them two packs for a fiver. clayford farm. 85% chicken breast used and quick and easy to pop in my airfryer in the mornings and also a good source of protein alongside eggs for breakfast.
So sausages mixed with scrambled egg whites and one whole egg. Some washed spinach and a tomato. Avocado on the side.

Really simple and not time consuming. Tuna in spring water drained then mixed with greek yogurt and pepper. Some Veggetti courgettes and cucumbers, cherry tomatoes,avocado and some feta cheese. I’m trying to eat as much protein as I can and lower my carbs as I want to start gaining some serious muscle. You’re meant to eat the pounds of weight you are in grams of protein I’ve read somewhere. I do drink pea protein shakes after workouts and when I can’t stomach a big meal or anymore cottage cheese.
I’m going to look into using isolate whey as I know they have some cleaner ones out now.

Body pump class and cx worx class completed and then some heavy leg presses and chest presses. I really love the new release of body pump was a shock to the muscles. I’m slowly adding more and more weights too and my squat form is so much better now. Always focus on your form before adding higher weight, if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you! CXworx is a good core workout. It definitely hurts and works. I hate this class but it’s only half an hour and I need to really tone up my core to help my mummy pouch skin so that’s why I go.

Dinner was very light and simple as I couldn’t be bothered to cook much and just downed a protein shake.

What do you do to Relax?

Everyone relaxes in very different ways. Some people like to read, some people like to cook, some people like to play video games, I like all three but what I really love after a workout or a hard day is a good bubbly bath, a magazine and some candles. There is just nothing better then putting the kids to bed and chilling out in my little haven.
Now everyone loves a bit of radox but recently I’ve branched out to some other makes of bubble bath.

Treacle moon do some absolutely amazing smelling bubble baths. currently I can’t seem to try them all as my local shops don’t sell them but the warm cinnamon nights is to die for. I love Christmas and the smell of Christmas and this is just Christmas in a bottle! I also managed to pick this absolute bargain up from home bargains for £1! Complete steal as the cinnamon one cost me £5 but worth it as it my time and as an adult YOUR time is very minimal and rare I find!

They’ve bought out a honeycomb one that I just have to find! Has anyone tried any of their range? What do you think?
